Our plan is to start off in Nigeria (a country with a notoriously poor quality grid). With falling costs of solar equipment, lots of sunlight (high insolation levels) and lower per capita consumption of energy, solar already makes a lot of sense in Africa.

Because access to low cost capital is challenging in most African countries, property owners are faced with addressing the relatively high capital cost of solar equipment. Our aim is to reduce this obstacle by focusing on innovative solutions, energy efficiency and hybrid power systems. Our main focus is on small scale distributed solar solutions tailored to African needs.
The key to a successful and affordable solar installation off grid is to combine a focus on energy efficiency, with a combination of AC and DC networks, and where necessary, alternative sources of energy (i.e. a hybrid solution).
